Guidelines for the deployment of the Kachwekano Community Wireless Network

This document includes a set of practical guidelines for the installation of the Kabale Community Wireless Network. As the Kabale network consists of far longer links than Lira and Nabweru networks required, the alignment of access point and clients units is more important in this case. Also, the antennas that will be used in Kabale are sectoral antennas in contrast to the omni-directional antennas that were used in Lira and Nabweru. This implies that the antennas needs careful alignment in order to serve the designated area.

Furthermore, the documents includes a section about the evaluation of the quality of a wireless link.
