C1: Basic Technical Training
Basic training in building community wireless networks will be conducted by IT +46 in November 2006. The training will target the CWRC students and staff to establish knowledge about wireless communications within the Center.
The training will include the following topics:

- Basic Radio Physics
- Radio Link Calculations
- Antennas and Cables
- Outdoor Radio Simulations
- Planning and budgeting
- Communication Towers
Practical sessions
- Ethernet cables (P1)
- Access point configuraiton (P1)
- Outdoor radio simulation (P2)
- PtP link (P3)
