Lira Telecentre (CPAR)

Description: A.k.a Dr. Paul Hargrave Community Learning center. The Telecentre was setup as a pilot project by CPAR Uganda and funded by IDRC. Currently has 5 computers and receives 80 clients monthly.

Comments:
- The center is located on fairly flat land with few trees around it. All partners' buildings are within six to ten meters high and are located within about 100 meters of the Telecentre.

Proposed technical solution

An outdoor unit (LR1) will be placed at the top of the roof of Lira Telecentre with an omnidirectional antenna that will serve four clients:

4.Central Primary School

The solution adopted includes four standardized clients kit and one outdoor unit kit.
